Halloween 2022
Crafts, DIYThis year for Halloween I decided to go with a them instead of random decorations. Welcome to the Headless Saloon!
Stables
DIYMy daughter is going through a big horse phase right now, so I decided to make her a stable for her toy horses.
Diagonal Drawers
DIYHere's a super-simple project to get the maximum space out of a kitchen drawer. These dividers took me about an hour to complete, and now my utensil drawer has plenty of room for those longer items!
Holiday Tray Project
DIYThis year for the holidays Ragon had an idea to give out some trays to friends and family. Due to the COVID pandemic we can't visit with people in person, but she thought it would be nice to leave a tray with some goodies on people's doorsteps, which I thought was a great idea. While she got some nice jars of jellies and baked goods, I went to work creating the actual trays.
Napkin Holder
DIYThe kitchen table is usually a mess, and I needed something to do. Sounds like the perfect combination for a weekend project!
Gaming Table
DIYWe have been stuck at home now for about 7 months due to the COVID pandemic, so we've been playing a lot of games. I'm starting to go a little stir crazy, so my wife suggested I needed a project. I thought about it for a while and decided I wanted to make a gaming table! I've always wanted a nice, modular table that could handle board games and role playing games. And of course it had to have cup holders.
Cat Scratcher
DIYI don't think I want to know the cat that doesn't want a tall kitty scratching post/condo thing to climb on and play in.
Privacy Wall
DIYAfter our home addition project a few years ago, our air conditioning unit was just left sitting exposed in the back of the house. Being so close to the pond and playing area it was kind of an eyesore, so I built this little privacy wall to hide it.
Outdoor Dining Table
DIYOur old outdoor dining table was an old, metal and glass hand-me-down - and it was falling apart. So I decided to build a new one. Seemed like a fun project, and it was!
Closet To Mudroom Conversion
DIYI converted a not-very-useful closet to a much-more-useful space by converting it into a mudroom area, with a bench, lots of storage, and coat hooks.
Dollhouse
DIYBack in 2015 I had the idea to create a dollhouse for Alice's 3rd birthday. I didn't really have a plan for it or anything, just had some extra plywood and the idea in my head for what I wanted it to look like.
Multi-Level Planter
DIYThis 3-tier outdoor planter can be created in a weekend with basic materials. But it looks great and can hold a lot of little succulents or herbs.
