Hi, I’m Steve

Hi, I’m Steve – just another blogger on an internet full of bloggers. I like to do projects and things, so I created this website as a place to document and share them with anyone who is interested.

More about me:

I like to tinker with objects and build things. I’m a programmer for a game company for a living. I currently live in Los Angeles with my old dog, Dublin. He’s such a sweetheart but is afraid of everything. I have problems trying to act my age. I married a social worker and have an amazing daughter. They love to collect cats. I enjoy traveling and visiting new places. I like to take on challenges just to see if I could do them.  I have a hard time taking things seriously and focusing on something I’m not interested in. Depression is something I’ve struggled with on and off for most of my life, which has been annoying. I like to interact with unusual people. Feeling like I am contributing to something is important to me. My arch enemy is boredom. My least favorite sensory experience is being cold and wet. I have a hard time justifying relaxing.

Hobbies:

Biking is big for me. It’s the perfect combination of being outside, exploring, getting exercise, and offers me a way to recharge my battery. I am also into photography (although not as much as I used to be), traveling when I can, and playing games.

If you want to chat or just get something off your chest, feel free to drop me a line. I’m generally a friendly guy.

This is me with a fantastic coaster my mother-in-law gave me for the holidays one year. They are probably the best thing she has ever given me. I like her daughter a lot.
