The holidays are almost here, and the family and I have completed our 2020 Holiday Card! Let’s face it, this year was a challenge for most people.  From record-setting wildfires here in California, the ongoing climate crisis, a nail-biting election, social distancing, protests over racial injustice, and of course the COVID-19 pandemic.

So this year Ragon had an idea to do a movie poster that would feature us running from the year 2020, trying to escape to the year 2021 which we hope will be better. We did some quick photos of ourselves on a green screen, then I created an epic scene in Photoshop with coronavirus, wildfires, face masks, zoom calls, and of course explosions!

I don’t mean to make light of the issues going on in 2020. I know a lot of people are really struggling right now and I feel so fortunate to be able to continue working and carrying on through all these crises. But also we need a way to look back at the year with some humor, or else we would all surely go mad.
